Helpful Info Whether You’re New to Kolter Or A Seasoned Cougar!

Left Something At Home?

If your child left an item at home such as their lunch, water bottle, homework, etc. and you need to bring it to school, please leave it on the table outside Kolter’s front doors. With Covid, this helps limit the amount of parents coming into the building. Also, be sure to LABEL YOUR ITEMS WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME AND TEACHER. There will be a pen and post-it paper on the table for you to do so. This ensures front office staff get it to your kiddo. Thank you!!

Birthday Marquee & Treats

Students’ names will be displayed on Kolter’s marquee for FREE for their birthdays! Birthdays are also part of the morning announcements and students receive a pencil and a sticker. Kiddos can also bring in birthday treats! They must be individual and store-bought. Also, please email your teacher to coordinate when you should bring the treats to school. Kolter loves to celebrate our Cougars!

Student Absences

If your child is absent, please email their teacher and Ms. Rosales in the front office After three days, your child will need a doctor’s note to excuse the absences. Also, attendance is taken at 9:40 a.m.; if your child gets to school after that time they are marked absent.

Free lunch is available to every student every day. But if you send your child to school with a packed lunch teachers will likely ensure they eat it and not get lunch from the cafeteria. If your child forgets their packed lunch, don’t worry — they can always grab lunch from the Kolter cafeteria! Want to know what time your child has lunch? Go Here.
