Our PTO Board is made up of hard-working parents who pool their talents to provide practical support for our school. Those listed below volunteered to provide leadership this year. Get to know their names and faces, and feel free to ask them if you have questions.

President - Currie Heidt  President@Kolterpto.com

Currie Heidt has two kids at Kolter.  Emilia who will be in 2nd grade and Henry who will be in 4th grade.  Currie is entering her 2nd year as President.  She has Chaired several committees including Boosterthon for two years and Welcoming along with volunteering at multiple events for the past 4 years.  Currie is an Interior Designer and lives in Meyerland with her husband David, children and their dog Brittany.  This is Currie's 2nd and final year in this position.

VP of Volunteers- Megan Ellis  Volunteers@kolterpto.com
Megan Ellis has two boys, Baker (2nd grade) and McClain (4th grade), two dogs, with her husband, Clayton. She has been an active member of the PTO for the past four years serving as a room parent since 2020 and Field Day co-chair since 2022. You will also find her volunteering in the Kolter’s front office and throughout the school on various committees.  This is Megan's 2nd and final year in this position.

   Simret Mathewos - VP Communications

Simret is a returning PTO board member serving for the 2nd year in the same role.  In past years she has served as a room parent, GLC and welcome committee co-chair.  She lives in the Meyerland community with her husband Nebil and their kids Lucas (5th grade) and Layla (4 year old, future cougar).  Houston has been home now for 14 years, but she's originally from Dallas, and attended the University of Texas at Austin.  She looks forward to many more years of supporting our Kolter community!  

 Treasurer - Erin Troff  Treasurer@kolterpto.com

Hi, I am Erin Troff. My daughter, Robyn, has been at Kolter for the last 3 years. She is entering 2nd grade and my son, Fritz, will be in 1st. I  was co-chair of the spirit wear committee and welcoming committee, and chair of the library. I volunteer whenever I can get away from work including boosterthon and field day. My husband and I own Chimney Rock Car Care, an auto repair shop in the galleria area.  This is Erin's 2nd and final year in this position.

Treasurer - Andrea Kahle Treasurer@kolterpto.com

Andrea is a mom to 3 boys and 2 dogs. She has 3 boys in 5th grade, 2nd, and entering Kinder at Kolter. Since Andrea’s kids have been at Kolter, she has volunteered as a room parent, participated in multiple PTO committees including Book Fair and Teacher Appreciation, assisted with numerous school events, and helped with classroom copies, laminating and more! This is Andrea's 2nd and final year in this position.

Campus Relations - Emily Dolina 

Emily has two amazing kiddos, Elliott (Third Grade) and Emmett (Age 4), and an awesome husband, Scott. She has been an active member of the PTO for the past three years serving as a T-Shirt Committee Co-Chair (2021) and room parent (2022). She is so excited to serve on the PTO Board and continue to get to know the amazing Kolter staff, students, parents, and fellow volunteers!  This is Emily's 2nd and final year in this position.

Secretary - Daniell Davis  Secretary@kolterpto.com

This is Daniell’s fourth year as an active member of the PTO. She previously Co-Chaired the Spiritwear Committee during the 2021-2022 school year and served as the Gala Committee Chair during the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 years. She and her husband Bryan are both Houston natives and they are parents of four including Brynn in 3rd grade and Camden in Kinder. This is Daniell's 2nd and final year in this position.  Daniell is the President elect for the 2025/2026 school year.
